On the edge of the forest, hidden away from the village center. This plot houses a 1970s house that will be completely demolished and rebuilt to accommodate clientele accustomed to a very high-end standard.
Nature and Luxury
Here, we proposed a garden with contemporary lines and a palette that’s over 90% indigenous. We chose to minimize the lawn areas to the strictest minimum. These grassy areas will be prominent, surrounded by large grassy beds bordering the natural woodland. The lawn outlines the garden, creating a contrast between the wild impression of the woods and the sharp green of the lawn polygons highlighted by grasses. Focused efforts ensure maximum visual impact and minimal resource usage for this luxury villa garden.
A Garden of Optical Illusions
The 2500m2 garden is largely occupied by the imposing villa. It was necessary to cleverly make the boundaries disappear.
The woodland on the edge of the property was brought in to blur the garden fence, giving an impression of freedom. On the pool side, a large bed of blue grasses, phormiums, arbutus, and olive trees houses a fire pit while obscuring the proximity of the boundary wall, which is pierced by the reflection of a large mirror on the other side.
